The Watercolour II Collection

The Watercolour Collection is a series of painterly, colourful wallpapers and fabrics inspired by vintage textiles, weavings and embroideries from around the world.

The original patterns have been hand-painted in a broad and light manner, with many of the marks washing into and blotting the paper. It’s these imperfections that give the designs their natural and spontaneous character. Cross-cultural inspiration includes threadbare rugs from the Middle East, dyed and bleached fabric from Japan, and decorative European needlepoint.
